Charolette Wood Middle School - Danville, California
Charolette Wood Middle School is centrally located in the Greenbrook community. It is a top rated California school and is surrounded by Osage Park.
Osage Station Park, as it is officially called, is situated in the heart of Greenbrook in Danville, California. Most residents just call it Osage Park. The park is known for its beautiful memorial rose garden and children's play area with the train station and a water attraction. This 35-acre park features four tennis courts, four baseball diamonds, several soccer fields, plus a path around the park that has a distance of 7/10 (.7) mile.
Danville Little League uses the baseball diamonds for their baseball games and the grass fields are used by Mustang Soccer for their youth soccer program. Especially in Summer time it is a lively park with lots of children and their parents.
There is a snack shack that is open during the sports games and a group picnic area that is available to rent for e.g. birthday parties; our Real Estate company rented the picnic area several times for their yearly company picnic. Twenty picnic tables and five barbecue pits are located near the children’s play area.
There is ample parking at the main entrance at 816 Brookside Drive in Danville and an additional parking lot is located near the tennis courts, off Orange Blossom Way. From the park you have a beautiful view of Mount Diablo and the hills on the Westside. Whether you are looking for a great place to jog or just a peaceful stroll; Osage Park is the place to go.
