Esin Restaurant

At the Rose Garden - 750 Camino Ramon, Danville. Esin is simply one of the best restaurants in the area. Great food and wine. Try their Mezzo Platter with a glass of wine. Many Greenbrook residents can be found frequenting Esin.

Amicis

At the Rose Garden - 720 Camino Ramon, Danville . Amicis is the place for great pizza! Try their spicy chicken pizza to delight your tastebuds. Their antipasta salad with lemon-basil vinegarette is also a winner.

360 Gourmet Burritos

In Crow Canyon Commons - 3141 Crow Canyon Place, San Ramon. Need a tasty burrito fix? The garlic lime chicken at 360 Gourmet Burritos is what you're looking for.

Amber Bistro

One of my favorite restaurants in the East Bay is Amber Bistro in downtown Danville; a local family owned restaurant but with a typical San Francisco atmosphere. The owner Eric Janssen is a great host and wine connoisseur who always finds a moment to come and check in with you at your table. The food is a combination of Californian and Asian fusion cuisine. They have a great wine list; ask Eric for some recommendations.

Piatti Ristorante & Bar

Piatti Ristorante and Bar in the Livery in Danville is a typical Italian trattoria with a wonderful warm atmosphere. I have lived in Italy and have enjoyed the Italian cuisine for many years. The food at Piatti’s reminds me of being in Italy; the big pizza oven creates the warmth and the flavors of a real Italian kitchen. John Perkins has done a great job with the restaurant and his hardworking and friendly staff. Stop by for lunch and have one of their great salads or pizzas, and on a warm day enjoy the outdoor eating at the patio.

The Peasant & the Pear

Rodney Worth was voted Diablo Magazine ‘Best chef of the East Bay in 2008’. Rodney is owner and chef of the Peasant and the Pear on Hartz Avenue in Danville. Freshness is the main ingredient of their wonderful Californian cuisine. Whether you go for lunch or dinner you are always guaranteed a warm atmosphere, quality food and great staff. When Rodney stops by at your table to make sure your food is okay please thank him for all his donations for the local schools.
